Fifth Domain is seeking several UX/Product Designers to join the team to work on multiple products. The successful candidates will have at least 2-3 years of industry experience as a UX/UI or Product designer.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Translate business goals into intuitive digital experiences while taking the needs of our customers, our brand, and technical realities into account.
  • Make concepts tangible through storytelling and rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digital prototyping (for example wireframes, click-throughs, interactive prototypes)
  • Provide design advice and handle stakeholder expectations
  • Design high quality wireframes that reuse established design patterns when appropriate
  • Work closely with Product Managers/BA’s and Engineers to deliver high quality products.

Skills and Experience:

  • Deep understanding of design principles and methods
  • Experience working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver features
  • Ability to translate user insights into wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes
  • Knowledge or experience in design systems and meeting WCAG accessibility criteria
  • Base level understanding of web technologies (eg. HTML and CSS) and how this informs design choices
  • Ability to transition between UX and UI, from rough mock-ups to high-fidelity wireframes to final UI designs


  • Holds, or has the ability to obtain a security clearance
  • User Research experience

  • Design Thinking and Human-Centered design
  • Experience working with agile software. E.g. Atlassian software Jira/Confluence
  • Experience using tools for UI and visual design, especially Figma
