Fifth Domain is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of projects to some of Australia’s highest profile government clients.

Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop, lead and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, project and budget deliverables
  • Manage and lead cross-functional teams in order to successfully deliver projects to time, quality and budget specifications
  • Develop and lead the gathering of requirements
  • Assess and Manage Risk, Issues and Actions, escalating to Senior Management as required
  • Monitor and control each phase/steps of project implementation
  • Develop and deliver reporting for project stakeholders
  • Find solutions to mitigate and/or minimise project risks and other issues
  • Complete project milestone and financial reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills

Desirable Skills

We are looking for a candidate who can apply the below skills::

  • Experience in Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies preferred
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models or web technologies
  •  Knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects
  • Ability to collaborate with clients, stakeholders and other business units to find solutions to their problems
  • Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian suite of products
